So,

Being a 'Systems Engineer' in charge of integrating our software on an
appliance, I got tasked with porting the software to a new hardware
platform.

Whaddayaknow: it's 2017, and you still require a sacrifice to get SCSI
to perform. Who thought it was a good idea to create a SAS controller
that crashes when it gets an initialisation request on a warm reboot
using kexec?

AHS.

I didn't cut myself on the chassis. This is what happens if you skip the
blood sacrifice.
